The 5 star reviews are rolling in hot from those that attended our ‘Superstar Service Advisor’ training sessions around Australia! We want to say a massive thank you to all the workshop owners and SA’s who made the effort and commitment to come along and spend the full day learning with their industry peers. We’ve had some fantastic feedback so far and couldn’t be happier with how the training sessions went. Did you miss our session in your city? Lucky for you we have ONE more event left, in Hobart, on Friday 11th October. Trust us, it’s well worth the trip down to Tassie! What you spend on flights will be made up for in business profit, once your SA starts implementing all our invaluable lessons 😁🚙📝 Grab a seat at our Hobart session, here👇 https://buff.ly/4bGr4g7

🌟 STEPTEMBER WRAP-UP 🌟 What an incredible month of rivalry, action, and teamwork at The Workshop Whisperer as we participated in Steptember. Together, we raised $1,101 for Cerebral Palsy and smashed out an impressive 2,492,386 steps! 🎉🎉🎉 Some highlights - 🏆 Top Stepper: Coach Phil with a massive 370,186 steps (averaging 12,339 per day)! Phil came out strong and kept pushing through with his unbeatable determination. 🥈 Second Place: Our Events Coordinator Jenni who clocked in 353,080 steps. Word on the street is she’s been flagged by airport security for her intense gate lounge stepping while travelling for our Service Advisor Training! 😂 💰 Top Fundraiser: Ash our CFO (no surprise, our CFO worked his magic 💵). Ash also secured a bronze medal in the step count—he's truly a multitasker! Congratulations to all our team who participated and thank you to those who donated and supported us. 🤩

Good customer service can make or break your auto repair shop business…🤝🚙 Here are 3 proven ways to get it right, and keep customers coming back 👇 1️⃣ Assess your current system… Do you already have a customer service system? If so, how do you deliver it? Is it hot and cold depending on your schedule? You can’t offer occasional customer support… Either you offer it or you don’t. 2️⃣ Can you add more value… Think about the services you could be offering that would add more value for the customer, and keep them coming back. Your customers don’t see the things that you do under the hood…but they’ll definitely notice a shiny, just-washed car. You could even offer a pickup and drop-off service for customers, especially if there is no suitable public transport nearby - or drop off your car-less customers at work if it’s not too far away… Think outside the box! 3️⃣ Train your staff… Your team needs to understand the services you offer. Organize team meetings and develop their customer service skills. That way, even the technicians will be able to offer a high level of customer service. It’s a great way to enhance all customer interactions within your auto repair shop. Remember, good customer service consists of countless little things, that all add up to a great experience👇 ☑️Calling the customer right after their car is finished can mean a lot to them. ☑️Providing filled job cards and invoices, too. Think about what would make your auto repair shop different… Today, a lot of auto repair shop owners have the wrong mindset. They think that they’re the best in town, so it’s their God-given right to have customers. But that’s not enough. You need to provide value. And you need to walk your talk. Make your customers happy and give them a reason to return and recommend your service to others! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Join our free FB community here for more advice and support: https://buff.ly/3Db4TiQ

This👇is why, when you’re working with a partner in your auto repair shop, you both MUST have the same vision 👀🔎 If you both have completely different ideas of where you think the business is headed or what type of strategies you want to implement in the workshop, it’s going to be chaotic and result in arguments. Nobody knows this better than our wonderful clients Kristen and Scott from @vmech_automotive - who described their business partnership as a ‘sh*tshow’ before joining our ‘Engine Room’ program 🛠️🚙 One of the first things we do when clients come on board - especially when two people are working in partnership - is we sit them out and get them to agree on a singular vision and unanimous goals for their business. And that is how these two👇went from constant arguments and a chaotic business that was severely affecting their home life…to being able to work together harmoniously and see great improvements in their personal relationship; as well as record profits in their business📈🚙 If you want to know whether or not there is room for improvement in your auto repair shop, take our free 60 second 'Health Check' quiz: https://buff.ly/4bMxlHv

You might have been running your workshop for decades, or you might have just opened it up - either way, it’s important to have a long term vision of how you are going to eventually exit the business 📝🚙 Whether your goal is to work in the business until you retire and then sell, or to train up a team to run the business without you - plans need to be put in place. In this video, coach Dean Evans explains why👇

What sort of staffing ratio should you have in your auto repair shop, in order for things to run as smoothly as possible? 🤔 In the clip below, our CEO Rachael Evans explains that for every ‘non-productive’ team member (Receptionist, Service Advisor, Manager etc) you should ideally have 3.5 ‘productive’ team members (technicians/mechanics) 🚙 This is just a tiny glimpse into the thousands of modules we teach in our ‘Engine Room’ program - an online educational program designed specific for workshop owners. DM us today if you’re interested in learning more about the Engine Room📥
