Last Friday we joined Nagnata at Studio Mouvoir in Sydney to co-host a restorative and grounding afternoon of yoga and sound healing. Bringing together friends from our shared communities to celebrate our new Body Protein+ and feel the benefits of movement in Nagnata’s natural fibre knitwear. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sharing a synergy in ethos, philosophy and integrity of process, it was a natural alignment for both brands to come together, weaving in conscious conversation and embodied movement. Last week, our CEO and Founder, Carla Oates, spoke at Commonwealth Bank Private's wellness event, Flourish, at the Royal Motor Yacht Club in Point Piper. In an honest and open conversation with Commonwealth Private's General Manager, ROBYN SARANAH, Carla shared key business insights since starting The Beauty Chef in her Bondi kitchen and building it into an international brand. When she launched The Beauty Chef's first product in 2009, GLOW® Inner Beauty Essential, Carla was told by retailers that the concept of an ingestible for gut health and glowing skin with bio-fermented wholefoods, pre-, pro and postbiotics was left of field and that there was no category for it on the shelf. Pioneering the inner beauty category saw Carla investing considerable time in educating people on why beauty begins in the belly.
