A new chapter in inclusion is here! We’re excited to share a game-changing addition at MCEC – our brand new Changing Places Facility. Thoughtfully designed with accessibility and comfort in mind, this space is about more than just function; it’s about providing a welcoming, dignified experience for every visitor. In collaboration with Folk Architects and the Victorian Government, we’ve crafted a facility that combines the practical with the inviting. Picture warm materials, soft lighting, and bespoke seating for carers, ensuring everyone feels right at home. We also worked closely with community members who have lived experience, ensuring their needs and preferences shaped the design every step of the way. Centrally located within our venue, this fully-equipped facility features a height-adjustable adult changing table, ceiling track hoist system, and much more! We’re committed to making sure that every event here is accessible to all. This isn’t just a bathroom; it’s a space that invites everyone to engage, connect, and be part of the experiences at our venue.
