A local South Australian agency supporting 'for purpose' and public sector organisations to think human.
About us
Think Human's vision is to bridge the divide between what human services aspire to do and how they actually operate. We rarely have a blank canvas when it comes to developing services and systems. Nor do we always have the time or the skill-sets to think differently about what we do everyday in human-facing systems. That’s why we use the word ‘redesign’ to capture the value we offer. The hardest work is not to imagine something new, but to translate what we already do day to day into something that can create breakthrough change for individuals and communities. We start, always, by ‘thinking human’. We offer a range of services to help organisations, government agencies and businesses to deliver better services to their customers and communities, whilst building happier and more connected workplaces. All our services are based on best emerging practice in the fields of human-centred design, change management, behaviour design and community engagement, all tailored to your needs. 'Off-the-shelf' is not our style!

How do you see your priorities shift as you move through your career? If you're in the later stages of your working life, you may find that a new set of questions arise for you: should I change jobs, or is it too risky? When should I retire... or do I not want to do that at all? How do I balance my drive to keep stretching with my desire to change the pace? Our Late Career Coaching Program kicks off on 21st October and will offer a small group of people in their late career a chance to explore the questions that are on their mind and find some personalised answers. Find out more and sign up (or share with friends and colleagues): https://lnkd.in/g33xvBAE

We still have some spaces left in our Late Career Coaching Program coming up in October. If you are in the later stages of your working life you will no doubt be responding to questions from others - and yourself - about the years ahead. How do you want to invest your time? Do you want to keep working for many years to come, or transition to something else? Does work still give you what you need, beyond a pay packet, and are there things you could change to increase your enjoyment of work? And how do you juggle all the other demands? If these questions resonate for you, or for staff you support, why not sign up for our upcoming Late Career Coaching Program? Or get in touch for a chat to work out if it is a fit for you or your team members. https://lnkd.in/g33xvBAE

We are delighted to be working with Centennial Park Cemetery to better understand its community’s needs, wants and priorities. Centennial Park wants to ensure it remains a trusted partner, guiding and supporting people through the complexities of end-of-life planning with compassion, thoughtfulness, and patience. Your feedback will help them improve services and continue adapting to meet 21st century needs. If you live in the western, eastern or southern suburbs of Adelaide and have used or considered using Centennial Park, we would love to hear from you. You can complete a survey by clicking the link or scan the QR code to register for focus groups or interviews. https://lnkd.in/g3AXGsaQ

We kicked off the Mapping Midlife group coaching program this week with an amazing session of deep, rich, vulnerable and affirming conversations. And good news: the Late Career Coaching Program has been postponed until October, so bookings are still open to join the next cohort to map your pathway through your remaining career and into 'life after work'. Find out more and book your place at the link, or share with people in your network who are in the last ten years or so of their (current!) working life. https://lnkd.in/g33xvBAE

We're delighted to share the toolkit we developed for SA Health's Office for Ageing Well to support organisations to be more aware of unintentional ageism and develop age positive communications, and to support individuals to take effective action to respond to ageism in the media and in organisational communications. It's designed to be a very practical toolkit to make it easier to use wording, imagery and messaging that challenge rather than perpetuate stereotypes. https://lnkd.in/dVcGNyJq

In the final week of our Mental Health Helpline survey, we'd particularly like to hear from people in SA who've had no previous contact with mental health services. Survey in linked post, or contact me on LinkedIn or email to set up a chat: melanie@thinkhuman.com.au
Facilitator, Co-design Practitioner, AIECL Organisational Coach & Tiny Habits® Coach, Life Transition & Longevity Mentor.
Our Mental Health helpline survey on behalf of SA Health closes at the end of next week (9th August). Whether you have or haven't used a mental health helpline, we'd love to know how to make it more approachable and effective for the future, in case you do ever need it. We are also looking for a few more people to talk to - particularly people who have had no previous contact with mental health services. Fill in the survey below or get in touch to arrange a chat: connect@thinkhuman.com.au https://lnkd.in/gbE9amfK
