Following the release of CPI data recently - where inflation hit a 3-year low at 2.5%, reinforcing expectations of a likely Fed interest rate cut next week - gold reached a new all-time high of $2,559.   Allegiance Gold’s COO, Alex Ebkarian commented “We are headed towards a lower interest rate environment, so gold is becoming a lot more attractive”.   Meanwhile, the European Central Bank also cut rates by 0.25%, further boosting bullish sentiment in the gold market. We're continuing to make rank in top intercept listings, featuring second in Opaxe's top five ASX intercepts over the entire week of Aug 26 - Sep 1, 2024.   Our Paris project continues to impress, with a high-grade intercept of 22.15m @ 12.14g/t Au from 188.27m.   While not technically top of the list (but a competitive second 😉), our comparatively shallower result showcases the project's near-surface potential and operational efficiency.   Huge credit to our technical team - André Hanekom, Mareshet Meshesha, Cesar Leonardo Lopez, Fabián Abril G, Alejandro Nino Garcia, and Nicolas Zuluaga Velasquez - for their expertise and dedication.   Next up: We're finalising our Mineral Resource Estimate and have more drilling results on the way. IMPRESSIVE INTERVALS INCLUDE: - Hole 2024PDD005: intercepted 22.15 metres at 12.14 g/t gold from 188.27 metres, including 2.15m @ 16.79 g/t gold, and another 2.7m @ 82.45 g/t gold. - Hole 2024PDD004 intercepted shallow mineralisation extending into shallower zones, confirming the continuity of high-grade with 4.05m @ 4.79 g/t gold from 89.87m and 9.33m @ 4.66 g/t gold from 109.07m down hole. ASX ANNOUNCEMENT: ROBUST FIRST ITERATION OF RESULTS FROM DIAMOND DRILLING AT PARIS GOLD PROJECT, RC DRILLING UNDERWAY Torque Metals is pleased to announce initial results from its diamond drill campaign and the commencement of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling at the Paris Gold Project in the West Australian Goldfields—one of the world's most favourable jurisdictions for mineral exploration. HIGHLIGHTS:   - More spectacular assay results delivered, comprising 4 of 6-holes from the recently completed 1,105m diamond drill program at Paris Gold project – Paris prospect, with best results including: - 22.15m @ 12.14 g/t gold from 188.27m in hole 2024PDD005, including 2.15m @ 16.79 g/t gold from 195.65m and 2.7m @ 82.45 g/t gold from 206.4m. - 4.05m @ 4.79 g/t gold from 89.87m in hole 2024PDD004, including 1.21m @ 15.92 g/t gold from 90.83m; and 9.33m @ 4.66 g/t gold from 109.07m, including 2.18m @ 19.44 g/t gold from 109.99m. - 4.50m @ 5.19 g/t gold from 94m in hole 2024PDD002, including 1.25m @ 13.52 g/t gold from 94.75m. - Results are significant, as they demonstrate mineralisation extending up dip into shallower zones. - Assays expected in coming weeks from the remaining two holes of the 1,105m six-hole programme. Core samples will be used to perform additional metallurgical studies. - RC extensional drill program is well underway at Paris Gold project, comprising ~7,000m of drilling across the high-grade mineralised zone west of the Paris prospect. - Paris is a shallow, high-grade, high-recovery (>96%) gold project located proximate to processing infrastructure and surrounded by producers such as Goldfields, Westgold, Northern Star among others.
