Next week we have a unique edition of the Retrofit Forum with an online-only session! 💻 It features a presentation of the Bushfire Retrofit Toolkit, a resource that was created through community engagement, to inform decision-making in retrofitting homes for greater bushfire protection. This presentation will be followed up by a panel discussion. This World Cities Day let's look at last week's event: Rethinking an Urban Era. Last week’s annual symposium brought together community leaders and experts to discuss multilayered, holistic governance and sustainability for humans, nonhumans, and the environment on which they both rely. World Cities Day 2024, themed "Youth climate changemakers: Catalyzing local action for urban sustainability," aims to showcase the crucial role of local governments and young people in addressing urban climate challenges. Disinformation in the City workshop - Prato style! What a beautiful setting at the Monash University Prato Centre for our convening across continents to discuss how cities, academia, media and civil society can collaborate to inform city responses to disinformation.
