For a critical metal that ranks as the fourth most produced metal in the world — this is a problem 👇 #Zinc An anticipated supply surplus of 56,000 metric tons of zinc in 2024 is now expected to be a 164,000 ton supply deficit, according to the International Lead and Zinc Study Group. Demand for zinc is forecast to rise 1.8% to 13.83 million tonnes in 2024, but zinc mine production is falling for the third consecutive year. Zinc is such an enormous market that small fluctuations can have significant impact on price.
