November is Trans Awareness Month, and we can all work together to minimise the harm and stereotypes that trans and gender diverse people face in the media, and our community. To support the inclusion, safety and wellbeing of trans and gender diverse Victorians, the Victorian Government has launched a new advertising guide called the ‘Better practice guide to including trans and gender diverse talent in your campaigns’, created in consultation with trans and gender diverse talent, organisations, networks and advocates in Victoria. Read the guide at https://lnkd.in/gA5jjw77 Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing We'd also like to spotlight our guide for managers supporting employees affirming their gender: https://lnkd.in/gBRpZy3U We created this guide to help managers support positive wellbeing outcomes for their trans, gender-diverse and non-binary employees. Trans, gender-diverse and non-binary people deserve to feel safe and included in the workplace and in our community. #TransAwarenessMonth
