We know how important community is to people with disability and their families, carers and supporters. So we regularly connect with communities we’re working with to learn more about what matters to you. VALID project staff Croos and Katy have started working with CID NSW on a project called ‘I Can Decide’ that will work with people from 3 CALD communities to make their own decisions. They recently joined SSI, community organisations and members to learn from a presentation about the harm gambling can cause many people from CALD backgrounds. Thank you to all lived experience and professional experts for sharing your stories and insights with us – and to SSI for an excellent lunch! #CALD #GamblingHarm #Community #CommunityBuilding
