Last week, we had the honour of hosting a fundraising dinner at Grill’d Swan Street to celebrate our partnership with Nedd Brockmann, We Are Mobilise, and Nedd's Uncomfortable Challenge. We were proud to present a $100,000 cheque to We Are Mobilise. The event brought us together to recognise the incredible efforts across Australia in supporting initiatives that help ease the burden of homelessness. Wow, Australia! 🫶 Kicking off the first week of November, and we’ve just hit an incredible $4.8 million in donations to support those facing homelessness. What a journey 🤯 Look at how far we have come, that first photo was taken 2 years ago and since then we have raised over $7 million for those facing homelessness. 🤩 In 2022 Nedd ran across Australia, from Perth to Bondi raising over $2 million. This has enabled us to create 5 innovative programs that met the unmet needs of people facing homelessness across Australia. Since launching our first program last year we have transformed over 150 lives through our programs and this is just the beginning. 🙌 We cannot wait to take you along the journey and show how big of a difference your donations will make for years to come! 💙 #wearemobilise #endinghomelessness

Words can’t express our gratitude to you all, so we thought we’d try and do our best by sharing an insight into who we’re all doing this for. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, after this October I will never doubt the capability of the human mind. Anything is possible, we can all be a part of the change and life can be oh so glorious when we work together as a community. To Nedd my brother, hats off mate - the change you have catalysed will ripple through for years to come. To everyone who has come along for the journey - let’s not let this be a moment in time but the start of a new chapter for us all. To the Bursty team, words can’t express our gratitude but there truly isn’t another team we would prefer to be side by side with. And of course to the We Are Mobilise team, I could not be more proud - a bunch of dreamers who are willing to believe in a better world and who have worked tirelessly to contribute our small bit to making it a reality. So, we wanted to say thanks. 👋 October has been nothing short of incredible, and what’s most special is that it’s just the beginning of many dreams coming to life. Since 2016, we’ve had one goal: to help our friends on the street. In 2022, with the incredible support of Nedd’s run across Australia, we got the opportunity to make that dream a reality. Since then, we’ve launched five new programs, including Australian first direct giving programs, all aimed at creating lasting change. When we talk about dreams, we mean the dreams of those we support — our participants. Thanks to you, we now have the chance to make those dreams come true. You’ve given us this opportunity, and we’re ready to bring it to life. As October wraps up, we’re beyond grateful for the chance to keep building on this mission. Homelessness is solvable, and together, we’re committed to changing the lives of those who need it most. Thank you, Australia.
