Our 30-player squad for the upcoming three-game Spring Series tour in South Africa just dropped, featuring several new faces and WA locals. The Western Force spring series squad will face the Toyota Cheetahs, Emerging Ireland and DHL WP XV in late September and early October. Excitingly, our new signings Darcy Swain, Nic Dolly, Divad Palu, Josh Thompson and Nick Champion de Crespigny will get their first opportunity to don the Force kit on field. We have officially announced our leadership group for the upcoming Spring Series tour in South Africa! Reed Prinsep has been named captain in Jeremy Williams’ absence and will be ably supported by 2024 Rising Star Henry Robertson and former Wallaby Sam Carter as vice-captains. Force defence coach Will Eggleston will step up as head coach for the tour, as the high performance team explores opportunities for coaching staff to further develop their coaching skills. Force captain and Wallaroos vice-captain Trilleen Pomare says she wasn’t even aware that she was closing in on Liz Patu’s international capped record ahead of Australia’s latest tour. It comes after Pomare became the first women’s player to reach 25 Super W caps for the Force in Round 3 of the 2024 season. “To be honest, I had no idea. It’s not really something you think of...
