It was great to host Rebecca Brown, Director General of the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, and her team in the Wheatbelt to discuss the key projects and opportunities emerging across the region. A big thanks to the teams at CBH Group, AvonWest Logistics Hub, Evoke Living Homes, DomeShelter Australia, and Northern Valley Packers for showcasing the potential of the Wheatbelt firsthand. As the Wheatbelt continues to diversify into the mining, logistics and manufacturing sectors, the Wheatbelt Development Commission remains focused on supporting this growth through industrial land supply, enabling infrastructure and building a skilled local workforce to meet the region’s evolving needs. 10 Wheatbelt projects will share in $1.16 million through Round 7 of the RED Grants program! 🎉 We were delighted to welcome the Hon Don Punch MLA to Darkan to celebrate the announcement of the successful applicants, who are set to strengthen regional business resilience and drive economic diversity. Successful projects in Round 7 will diversify the agribusiness, tourism, and hospitality offerings across the Wheatbelt and support regional job creation in the manufacturing and telecommunication sectors.
