Flashback to last week when WIMARQ Bowen Basin hosted its first event of the year in Moranbah, bringing together 40+ women and men for an evening of connection, inspiration, and powerful conversation. We were honoured to hear from Kanae. A. Dyas, 2024 National DEI Award Winner and Workplace Specialist, who shared her journey and insights on overcoming challenges. One key takeaway that resonated with many: 💡 "Fail Falling Forward" (Triple F) – Failure is inevitable, but it’s how we respond that defines us. Instead of letting setbacks hold us back, we can learn, grow, and use them as stepping stones to move forward. A huge thank you to Kristy Purdon for hosting such an impactful event and to everyone who attended. Events like these highlight the power of networks like WIMARQ, which continue to foster support, mentorship, and opportunities for women in resources and mining. If you missed out, make sure you’re signed up to our chapter page https://lnkd.in/gXdMkwp2 to stay in the loop with upcoming events and news! Here’s to more inspiring conversations in 2025! #WIMARQ #WomenInResources #Leadership #Networking #FlashbackFriday
