Yandal Resources Ltd has commenced follow-up drilling at the emerging Siona gold discovery. The prospect forms part of the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project within the Yandal Greenstone Belt of Western Australia. > The program will include twelve holes for approximately 2,500m of drilling, > Drilling aims to confirm the geometry of mineralisation and complete tests along the strike to the northwest and southeast, > The exploration team hopes to use data gained from the drilling to understand the mineralisation potential of Siona and target similar positions across the large-scale New England Granite host. Yandal Resources has entered into an Underwriting Agreement with Blackpeak Capital to underwrite $0.24 Options expiring on 31 October 2024. $5.5m of funding is to be received from Options exercisable at $0.24 each. Yandal is well-funded to accelerate exploration activities at the emerging Siona discovery, along with the large-scale Caladan and Irulan targets within the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project. Air-core drilling has commenced across the large-scale Caladan and Irulan targets within the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project. The program will take approximately three weeks to complete, and all assays are expected in 6-8 weeks. Results from the three diamond holes completed across the Quarter Moon Prospect in Early July have been released. These results: > Confirm high-grade gold mineralisation at depth that builds on RC results reported earlier this year, > Confirm mineralisation is steeply dipping towards the north-east, with a northwest strike, > Indicates that there are up to 9 parallel mineralised structures cross-cutting the regionally significant dolerite host, > Many of these structures remain open along strike and at depth. The team is currently evaluating follow-up targets for drilling. In addition to these results, the follow-up RC program across the New England Granite Prospect is complete, with results expected in four to six weeks. AC drilling across the large-scale Caladan and Irulan target areas will commence this week.
