The Pakistan Venture Connect 2024 event, held on October 10-11 in Islamabad, was organized by the CAREC Program and supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This remarkable event brought together innovative leaders, venture capitalists, and startup ecosystem participants from across the CAREC region. Representatives from various countries, including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Pakistan, engaged in discussions on regional collaboration and investment opportunities. 1st Day: The opening speeches and panel discussions organized by the CAREC Secretariat covered topics such as cross-border collaboration, investment opportunities, and regional synergies. One of the key moments of the event was the award ceremony for the winners of the CAREC University Startup Generator 2024. Participants left with new partnerships and enriched ideas to support the growth of entrepreneurship in the region. The day concluded with a networking evening. 2nd Day: The second day offered an in-depth look into Pakistan’s startup ecosystem. International representatives visited innovation hubs such as NIC Islamabad , the National Science & Technology Park and the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP). Technovate - SABAH Angel Investors Club ‘s Director, Alya Abbaszada , delivered a speech at the event and participated in a panel sharing her experiences and insights.
