When he’s not fine-tuning IT systems, you might find him making long-distance radio contacts as an avid ham radio operator or working on cars, combining his passion for technology with mechanics. His friends describe him as energetic, friendly, and adventurous - qualities that reflect in his approach to challenges, whether it's troubleshooting networks or testing his skills in new areas. 🔵 We’re kicking off 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, a new series where we share the achievements and passions of our dear colleagues. Everyone has a unique journey, and we’re excited to highlight the stories that make our team so special. First up, we’re bringing you Amina's story. She graduated in September last year from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, majoring in Telecommunications, with an impressive average grade of 9.57. "I actually knew very little about telecommunications or engineering at the start of my studies. I was good at math and problem solving, and had family members who studied telecommunications and recommended it, so I gave it a try. Over time, my interest in the field only grew. I realized that transporting information efficiently, quickly and safely in today's world is immensely important, so I want to contribute to that goal through my career. Now, as a software developer working in unified communications, I am applying my knowledge of programming and telecommunications to give my contribution to this field. 📍This february, six of our colleagues traveled to Brussels for one of the most important open-source conferences in the world – FOSDEM 2025. One of the biggest highlights of FOSDEM was the variety of topics covered across different sessions. There truly was something for everyone - from deep dives into Golang programming to discussions on emerging technologies, to practical advice for developers. The event was also a great opportunity for our colleagues to spend time together, discuss current projects, and exchange ideas, which aligns perfectly with our core values. We place a strong focus on improving our knowledge and skillsets, professional development, and expanding our products globally. FOSDEM provided a valuable setting for all of these, allowing our team to learn, grow, and connect. A big fan of Tvrđava by Meša Selimović and Silence of the Lambs, she also enjoys sewing, makeup, and cooking in her free time.
