I may be on a career break, but I'm hard pressed to say no when I'm asked to speak at a conference about my favourite topic: how to THRIVE as a digital nomad. This includes:
* How to frame travel as a lifestyle (which is more different from other forms of travel than you may think).
* How to work remotely in a productive way, in spite of a constantly changing environment.
* How to balance the travel and remote work components to live a sustainable, healthy, rewarding, affordable life as a digital nomad for as long as you wish.
This keynote has been 20 years in the making and it's full of amusing anecdotes and practical takeaways.
(And a lotta mistakes I'd rather you not make, cuz I made them for you.)
I was honoured to deliver this talk at the annual Cross Border Coworking Conference in Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina - which is a magical place that I shared my personal thoughts about on my FB & IG pages (where I tend to be more vocal about my travel adventures).
They even invited me to speak to the local media about the Balkan region as a digital nomad destination (spoiler alert: I think it's great. Go).
The conference was short and sweet, and a perfect balance of workshops and fun time together, with lots of space created for organic connections to be made. Fabulous event!
