Do sada smo posjetili nekoliko lokacija, a ove sedmice nastavljamo sa sljedećim rasporedom: Srijeda, 4.9.2024. - Stolac i Ljubinje Četvrtak, 5.9.2024. - Neum Petak, 6.9.2024. - Općina Stari Grad Sarajevo / Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, Općina Centar Sarajevo / Municipality Centar Sarajevo i Općina Novo Sarajevo 💡 Šta čini ovu turneju posebnom? Članovi tima koji provode turneju koriste interaktivne tablete putem kojih građanima na licu mjesta pomažu da izračunaju potencijal proizvodnje električne energije na njihovim krovovima. Koristeći solarni kalkulator, unose podatke o površini i orijentaciji krova, pružajući personalizirane informacije koje mogu pomoći građanima da donesu informirane odluke o korištenju solarne energije. 🏢 Također, otkrivamo potencijal proizvodnje na krovovima općinskih objekata, ističući važnost da upravo općine budu predvodnici u energetskoj tranziciji. 🌟 News about our Project GETA! 🌟 In the past months, REIC and GETA partners organized local events to empower rural youth in the field of energy transition and energy poverty. 🌍💡 During these events, with the amazing support of the rural youth, we surveyed over 500 citizens about their perception and level of information regarding energy efficiency. 📝📊 The energy efficiency assessment was conducted using 21 indicators from the EU energy observatory HUB. 🔍✅ The methodology and the results of the survey in each partner’s country are now presented in this comprehensive report. 📚🌱 This report will serve as a valuable baseline for launching new initiatives and projects across all partner countries! 🚀🤝 👉 Read the full report here: #EnergyTransition #energypoverty #Empowerment #ruralyouth #GETA #ErasmusPlus #EU https://lnkd.in/ekkdNWTa

⚡️ Energijsko siromaštvo predstavlja složen društveni izazov u današnjem društvu, pa tako i u 🇧🇦 Bosni i Hercegovini. Ovaj problem je postojao i ranije, a postepeno se pogoršava 📉 i nastaviće se pogoršavati tokom procesa energetske tranzicije. 🔄 Rješavanje ovog problema zahtijeva definisanje energijskog siromaštva, identifikaciju pogođenih domaćinstava 🏠 i implementaciju programa pomoći. 🌍 Pitanja energijske tranzicije i energijskog siromaštva su u fokusu projekta GETA: Gaming for Energy Transition of Rural Areas, na kojem REIC radi zajedno s partnerima iz 🇸🇪 Švedske, 🇮🇹 Italije i 🇦🇱 Albanije. U maju 2024. godine REIC je, u okviru projekta, proveo istraživanje 🔍 o energijskom siromaštvu na području Općine Hadžići. U istraživanju je učestvovalo 101 domaćinstvo, a samo ispitivanje je realizovalo 10 polaznika REIC-ove obuke „Energijska tranzicija i siromaštvo“. 🌍 19th International Summer School Recap: Learning, Collaboration, and Lasting Memories The 19th International Summer School was an unforgettable experience filled with valuable lectures, hands-on workshops, and meaningful discussions. Participants from diverse backgrounds came together to broader their knowledge of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and climate change, guided by leading experts in the field, from exploring decentralized energy systems and digital technologies to delving into human rights dimensions in the energy transition. But it wasn't all work and no play! Whether celebrating birthdays, sharing laughs over drinks at the bar, or enjoying the unique atmosphere of Čardaci Ethno Village, the Summer School was not just about learning but also about building lasting friendships and creating cherished memories. This year's event wasn't just a learning opportunity; it was a celebration of knowledge, collaboration, and the joy of coming together to make a difference. The laughter, shared experiences, and new connections made this Summer School a truly exceptional event. 🌱 Day 7 Recap: Reflecting on Sustainability and Celebrating Achievements The final day of the 19th Summer School was dedicated to self-reflection and the closure of an the learning experience. Melina Kalem from REIC led the participants through a session on self-reflection, meaningful discussions, and sharing insights, encouraging everyone to explore their own sustainability-oriented attitudes and how they can apply the knowledge gained throughout the week. After, participants undertook an exit test to assess their understanding and progress. The participant with the highest score was awarded a special prize, adding an exciting competitive edge to the learning experience. The day concluded with a proud moment for all—the awarding of certificates to participants, recognizing their dedication and active participation throughout the Summer School. This final day not only celebrated the achievements of the participants but also reinforced their commitment to sustainability and environment. 🔍 Day 6 Recap of the REIC's Summer School: Exploring the Intersection of Human Rights and Energy Transition Today's sessions were centered on the critical intersection of human rights and the energy transition, with a strong emphasis on citizen participation in Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) across Southeast Europe. The day began with Lecture by Davorin Marinkovic, a lawyer at Dimitrijević & Partners , who explored the Human Rights Dimension to the Energy Transition and Energy Justice. His lecture provided a thought-provoking perspective on how energy policies and practices impact human rights, advocating for a more just and inclusive energy transition. Following a coffee break, Arijana Suvak from REIC presented the first part of a Case Study Presentation focused on Methods to Enhance Citizen Participation, particularly within the context of RECs in Southeast Europe. This session highlighted practical approaches to empowering communities and ensuring their active involvement in the energy transition. After lunch, Arijana Šuvak continued with the second part of the case study, diving deeper into strategies and examples that showcase successful citizen participation in RECs. The discussion underscored the importance of community engagement for achieving sustainable and equitable energy solutions. Day 6 offered valuable insights into how human rights and citizen involvement are integral to the success of the energy transition, especially in the context of Renewable Energy Communities.
