As the nation rejoices at the precipice of a new era, our celebrations must not come before the safety and security of the more vulnerable in our society. The recent attacks on minority groups and public property go strictly against the spirit of our revolution, and it is our duty as citizens to do our part in protecting our brothers and sisters. Therefore, we at Young Economists’ Forum would like to urge everyone to organize within their communities in order to safeguard the minority groups and public property within their area. This could be done through social media, mosque mics and various other ways, and should be done while taking the proper precautions and measures to ensure everyone’s safety. Only we can protect us. Let us maintain the peaceful and justice-driven essence of the anti-inequality movement and ensure law and order in our beloved country. Young Economists’ Forum stands firmly against any violence targeted at minorities or public property. আমরা সবাই এখন এক!

In pursuit of young intellectual and creative minds, YEF eagerly welcomed their new batch of recruits, the ‘Mavericks’ , following an intensive recruitment process that attracted an unprecedented number of applicants. From the captivating "Money Heist" theme, which boldly proclaimed "Fortune Favors the Fearless," to the competitive interviews assessing their knowledge and problem-solving skills, each stage selected those who exemplified potential and dedication. Advancing through the final challenge of MOTM (Meeting of the Minds), where teamwork, leadership potential and communication were put to the test, these exceptional individuals proved their caliber. They were warmly integrated into the Young Economists' Forum through an interactive orientation session where they gained insights into the club's vision, activities, and avenues for personal growth. Mavericks were quite fortunate to have EconProdigy 6.0, the flagship event of Young Economists’ forum as their first event, where they proved themselves to be a dependable force. They made a profound impact at EconProdigy 6.0 with their strategic foresight and creative thinking, which elevated the policy making competition. Throughout the competition, they actively supported the team leaders in each phase, ensuring seamless execution and achievement. Beyond their operational roles, they played an essential part in securing sponsors, using their creativity to enhance visibility within and beyond the North South University premises. Their initiatives sparked excitement and engagement, attracting significant attention and praise online as well. Their proactive involvement provided them with invaluable lessons in leadership, teamwork, and strategic communication thereby preparing them for future leadership roles within YEF.
