🌍 INCLIVA participa en BIOTOOL-CHF Project, un proyecto europeo que busca revolucionar el manejo de la insuficiencia cardiaca 🏥 Financiado por la Unión Europea con 9,6 millones de euros, el proyecto tiene como objetivo mejorar el manejo de la congestión asociada a la insuficiencia cardiaca mediante una administración más eficaz de los medicamentos diuréticos y el desarrollo de metodologías innovadoras. 📌 La insuficiencia cardiaca, enfermedad cardiovascular crónica que impide que el corazón tenga capacidad suficiente para bombear sangre, es la causa más común de hospitalización en adultos, y afecta a 6,5 millones de personas en Europa. 🔬 El equipo del doctor Julio Nuñez, investigador principal del proyecto en INCLIVA, participa en el paquete de trabajo para la validación de la estrategia de diagnóstico complementario en un estudio clínico aleatorizado y controlado. 🗣 “En el presente estudio clínico pretendemos desarrollar un panel de biomarcadores que permitan a los clínicos optimizar la terapia diurética en pacientes con insuficiencia cardiaca descompensada. Heart failure (HF) affects up to 6.5 million people in Europe and remains the leading cause of hospitalization in adults. Managing congestion—one of the main drivers of worsening symptoms and hospital admissions—remains a challenge due to outdated clinical approaches.
