Accurate sorting of multilayer #plasticfilms is the first step in increasing the circularity of #packaging ♻️ It not only prevents contamination in existing recycling processes but also enables the creation of a specific waste fraction for plastic films to be recycled. 📣New public deliverable available!!! One of the CIMPA's objective is to develop a physical (dissolution) recycling process to recover polyolefins (PO) from multilayer waste streams. The recovered PO are intended to meet food contact requirements. In this report, you can learn about the experiments performed at TRL5 scale , how the plant was built and how the tests were performed at TNO.
