📣CIMPA's policy recommendations are now being unveiled! In this paper, the CIMPA consortium proposes measures to increase the circularity of plastic films for #packaging and #agricultural applications: 🟢Boosting the incorporation of #recycledplastics through recycled content targets and financial incentives. 🟢Implementation of the #recyclability criteria and improving #collection 🟢Developing #sustainabilitycriteria for recycling technologies by following a #recycling hierarchy. Join us for key policy discussions on 20 November in Brussels👉🏽 https://lnkd.in/eDC-8mmh IPC Centre Technique Industriel de la Plasturgie et des Composites AIMPLAS · Technological Institute of Plastics Eversia PAPREC Pellenc ST TNO VTT FiliGrade Sustainable Watermarks LEYGATECH GROUPE BARBIER EuRIC - The European Recycling Industries Prospex Institute vzw Benkei #CircularEconomy #EUGreenDeal #plastics #wastemanagement #recycling #sorting #innovation #cooperation #H2020 #EUfunding

Accurate sorting of multilayer #plasticfilms is the first step in increasing the circularity of #packaging ♻️ It not only prevents contamination in existing recycling processes but also enables the creation of a specific waste fraction for plastic films to be recycled. Join us on 20 November to learn more about the innovative sorting processes developed within CIMPA. Raphael JOSSELIN VERDIER from Pellenc ST and Marien de Lint from FiliGrade Sustainable Watermarks will present the results of combining NIR and digital water marking technologies. 📣New public deliverable available!!! One of the CIMPA's objective is to develop a physical (dissolution) recycling process to recover polyolefins (PO) from multilayer waste streams. The recovered PO are intended to meet food contact requirements. In this report, you can learn about the experiments performed at TRL5 scale , how the plant was built and how the tests were performed at TNO. Check it out here 👉🏽https://lnkd.in/epqPEEC4 All public deliverables 👉🏽https://lnkd.in/e-PwDKn7 #plastic #packaging #multilayers #dissolution #recycling #circulareconomy #innovation
