Morgen is de uitreiking van de Nationale Staalprijs 2024. Wij zijn 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐝 als staalbouwer met het project Inagro Agrotopia. Met een bebouwde oppervlakte van 9000m² en een totaalgewicht van maar liefst 142.000 kg is dit de grootste kas op het dak van Europa. De technische uitvoering vroeg om uiterste precisie en vakmanschap, vooral door de unieke vorm van het gebouw en de grootte van de constructie. Innovatieve technieken werden toegepast om de gewenste resultaten te bereiken. Opmerkelijk aan de bouw is dat de werken plaatsvonden terwijl de kistenloods eronder in gebruik was. After four years of successful collaboration with Tectum Group on the restoration of the roofs of the 𝙅𝙪𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙠 in 𝘽𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙨, it was time to celebrate! 🥂🎉 ✔️ Did you know that in this period, over 40,000 m² of zinc roofs, glass facades, and lead domes were restored? Of that, 10,000 m² was glass roofs and skylights, completed by Forzon. The rest of the zinc and roofing work was done by Tectum. ✔️ One of the main challenges? Carrying out the project while the museums stayed open. Keeping the museums dry and preventing falling materials required great precision. Our guests climbed more than 70 steps via a spiral staircase... it was worth it! They enjoyed the restoration and the stunning view over Brussels. Our project managers were proud as they shared the hard work that had been completed. A big thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the completion of this project! Interested? A fresh and energetic start to the day during Mobility Week! 🚴♀️✨ Together with many colleagues, we cycled to work. We gathered at Kasteel Blauwhuis, just a stone's throw from our company, and enjoyed a nice breakfast under the sun. Have you seen that the Agrotopia rooftop greenhouse has been nominated for the National Steel Prize 2024? ➡️ This state-of-the-art research greenhouse was constructed by Deforche Construction Group on the roof of the Reo fruit and vegetable auction's logistics shed in Roeselare, while the facility was still in operation.
