We had the honor of participating in the 11th annual Bell Ringing Ceremony at Euronext for International Women's Day! 🎉🔔 The event was a powerful reminder of the importance of gender diversity and inclusion in the finance sector. We were inspired by the speeches from Claire Godding, co-chair of WoMen in Finance Belgium, and Natalie Westerbarkey (LLM, MBA), who introduced the Women in DCM initiative of ICMA - International Capital Market Association. Afterwards, Sabine Caudron, our Head of Private Banking, joined Geert Cleuren and Claire Munck for a panel discussion moderated by Benoît van den Hove. The theme was 'Closing the gap, Accelerate action', in line with this year's International Women's Day theme. The speakers discussed the current state of gender diversity in their organizations and outlined the necessary steps for the future. They also shared practical tips from their own experiences, and an interactive quiz engaged the audience, sparking lively discussions. The conclusion was clear: action must be accelerated, and the gender parity seen in some boards should create a ripple effect, extending to executive and C-level positions. We are committed to accelerating action and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
