🎉 Today, we celebrated 30 years of EEA Grants Portugal at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation with a memorable conference! 🙌 The Norwegian State Secretary Maria Varteressian (Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and Portugal’s Secretary of State for Planning, Hélder Reis joined the celebration together with the Norwegian Ambassador, Hanne Brusletto, and representatives and beneficiaries from the #EEAGrants in Portugal. The conference highlighted the impact of the EEA Grants, their strategic role, and future outlooks and we also had the opportunity to hear inspiring stories from Programme Operators and project leaders that have been behind the successful projects supported by the EEA Grants for the last years. Congratulations to all our partners in Portugal for all the achievements in the last decades.

Today marks another significant step in summarizing the achievements of the EEA and Norway Grants. During the closing conference of the Home Affairs programme, the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of cooperation between Poland and Norway in protecting and strengthening a resilient society and the rule of law. The words “cooperation” and "resilience" were indeed a recurring theme throughout the summary of this programme. A heartfelt thanks to Programme Operator, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration of Poland and in particular to Magdalena Zdrojewska, for exceptional leadership and commitment to the successful implementation of the programme.
