🇵🇱 On the 10th of December, I’ll be participating as a panel speaker on behalf of EPSA - European Pharmaceutical Students' Association at the "Europe’s Tomorrow: Vaccination and Prevention Summit" in Warsaw, Poland, organised by ThinkYoung. I’ll be speaking on a panel discussing the role of youth in promotion of vaccination and prevention. Advocating for #PublicHealth and #Vaccination across the lifespan is crucial, and as students and young professionals, we play an important role in educating not only the younger generation but also adults. 💉 The event is free to attend, but registration is mandatory. On the 12th of October, EPSA collaborated with European Medical Students’ Association (EMSA) to deliver a workshop on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and the complexicities in advocacting for the tackilng of this issue as healthcare students and the possible courses of action to build stronger advocacy startegies. The Workshop took place during EMSA's Autumn Assembly held in Porto, Portugal, in which EPSA presented key figures on the involvment of pharmacists in tackling AMR as well as sharing relevant advocacy fundamentals implementable by students.

Mentoring Project is a project that aims to establish a bond between current professionals and students in order to provide them with the career guidance from an international perspective of development. 🌍 Mentoring Project starts with the open call for mentors, which is usually held in August. Open call for mentees is organized in October and November. After the allocation of the mentees and mentors, the project fully starts in December and lasts six months until May. Once accepted for the project, students will get complimentary educational sessions and skill-building assignments. They will set a schedule for regular meetings with the Mentor for a period of 6 months (from December to the end of May). After the project ends, they are free to stay in touch with each other even longer! For the Pharmacists' week, EPSA is organizing a debate on Saturday, the 28th of September, on the topic of Medication Misuse. EPSA attended The European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) Science Awards Webinar that took place on 5th of September where our Vice President of Education, Julia Górnicka, delivered a presentation on the EPSA Science Project. We also had the chance to hear from Vice President of EAHP, Darija Kuruc Poje, who shared valuable tips on how to write a great scientific abstract. In the end of the project there will be certificates issued for both mentors and mentees.
