About us
Essensium is a Belgian leading high-tech company founded in 2005 as a spin-off of the IMEC research center in Leuven. Our EPS division has a proven track record of innovative solutions for forklift collision avoidance (based on RTLS and AI-technology), providing safety and analytics to some of the globe’s largest organizations in their complex industrial and logistics operations. Our Mind division consists out of a group of expert consultants with a focus on low level embedded (linux/baremetal) and open source development besides low level networking (protocol stacks, uart, wifi,...), security (authentication and audits) and multimedia (audio-video encoding/decoding).

Yesterday, we organized our international #Safetrack demo day at Komatsu Europe with 60 participants from 25 companies, including end customers as well as sales engineers and field engineers from leading material handling equipment vendors. 👷 The event featured a full overview of our accurate RTLS technology (AI-based camera solution) and live demonstrations of our smart Safetrack solution in a real-life setting and an introduction to our customer portal, the digital twin. 🦺 Gert Verhoeven and Bert Deroover also explained why they implemented this platform to strive for “zero accidents on the workfloor”.
