About us

With a network of national coordinators connected to over 3000 local information providers and partners in 36 European countries, Eurodesk is one of the main sources of information on European policies and mobility opportunities for young people. We operate as a permanent support structure for the EU’s Erasmus+ programme. Our network also updates and manages content on the European Youth Portal. Eurodesk Brussels Link (EBL) is the coordinating body of the network and also the managing body of the Eurodesk brand. It ensures that the activities of Eurodesk national centres are aligned with the organisation's overall objectives and mission. It also provides first-hand European information on youth mobility as well as tools for training, information management, quality assessment and communication. EBL supports the European Commission in developing and maintaining the European Youth Portal, regularly editing European content, assessing the quality of Eurodesk national centres and giving them technical support.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Stakeholders' conference organised by the European Commission. A key message was that in an increasingly challenging global environment, it's crucial to demonstrate their contribution to promoting our European values and Europe’s competitiveness. Read the article to discover what was discussed! As we approach the MFF negotiations, it's vital for all of us involved in these programmes to advocate for their importance actively. By sharing our experiences, engaging with policymakers, and participating in public consultations, we can ensure that education and youth remain at the forefront of the EU's priorities. The future of Europe's youth and our collective values depend on it.
