    💫 Are you ready for a trip back to the 2000s? The new millennium brought exciting developments for Eurodesk! Here are some key milestones: 🌍 2000-2005: Eurodesk expanded its network to include Czechia, The Netherlands, Sweden, Slovakia, Poland, Estonia, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, and Liechtenstein! 🇪🇺 2001: The EU published the White Paper "A New Impetus for European Youth," identifying Youth Information as one of the four key areas to enhance European cooperation and national policy development. 🎨 2003: Eurodesk underwent a rebranding process, introducing a brand-new logo that was used until 2018 and closely resembles the current logo. 🖥️ 2004: Eurodesk supported the European Commission in launching the European Youth Portal, becoming the main entry point for young people and those working with them on European topics and programmes.  🇫🇷 2005: The first joint seminar between ERYICA, EYCA, and Eurodesk was held in Paris, France, titled 'Quality Matters in Youth Information.' These networks have been partners since the early years.   • As we are getting ready for the 2025 Eurodesk Awards ceremony in May, let's celebrate the inspiring projects that competed for the 2024 Youth Inclusion and Diversity Award! 🏆 Winners: Eurodesk Pop-Up by Infozona from Croatia: During the game, young people who have fewer opportunities found out to get information about the mobility opportunities; or how to organise a (green) trip to the mobility location and back within a budget. The event was designed in cooperation with the Bookbus service from Split, Croatia. Watch Out, Reach Out! by the Timis County Youth Foundation FITT from Romania (Network Prize Winner) : The project aimed to create accessible contexts and provide educational, artistic, and cultural events tailored to the needs of disadvantaged groups in the local community, including young people.     🇪🇺 Did you know? Back in 1979, only 15.9% of the European Parliament was women. Fast forward to 2024, and that number has jumped to 38.5%! The Gender Equality Index for 2024 scores a solid 71 out of 100 - an impressive increase from last year! ✨ We need more women in leadership roles, and to achieve this, we must break stereotypes.   • 🏆 Discover the contenders for the 2024 Eurodesk Awards! 🌟 🇮🇹 The APP GIOVANI department of Ozieri's Health District has been operating since 2008 across 16 municipalities in Sardinia, promoting youth leadership and socialisation through cultural projects and events, and since joining the Eurodesk network in 2020, has expanded its focus to include national and transnational opportunities.  In collaboration with Bulteatro, the Eurodesk Agency hosted an innovative event in Bono involving theatrical and musical readings that inspired community-wide debate on social and cultural issues, successfully increasing awareness and participation in European youth programmes, and boosting the agency's visibility and engagement.
