In the report, our CEOs also quite rightly flag their concerns about the growing black market in Europe and the risks it poses to players and the progress made in safer gambling. About us
The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) is the Brussels-based trade association representing the leading online gambling operators established, licensed, and regulated within the EU. In a rapidly growing and evolving sector, the EGBA is at the forefront of promoting a competitive and well-regulated online gambling sector in Europe. EGBA works collaboratively with national and EU authorities, along with other stakeholders, to promote an online gambling market that prioritises consumer protection and accomodates the realities of the internet and online consumer demand. The association advocates for regulations which ensure that the regulated online gambling offer is attractive to players and is effective in directing them away from unregulated offers. A key objective of EGBA is to promote a safe and sustainable online gambling sector in Europe. To support this objective, our members adhere to various EGBA industry standards and codes, in addition to the stringent licensing requirements that they already adhere to in the European countries where they operate. Our members meet the highest regulatory standards and together possess 267 online gambling licenses, each with its own compliance requirements, enabling them to serve 31.2 million customers across 22 different European countries. Collectively, they contribute to approximately one-third of Europe’s online gambling gross gaming revenue (GGR). Members of EGBA also participate in the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) which drives industry efforts in sports integrity and the prevention of match-fixing. The association has established an alert platform and information sharing agreements with leading governing bodies of sports, including FIFA and the IOC. EGBA is registered to the EU Transparency register since 2009 with the number 29508582413-52.

🚨 We have Breaking News! 🚨 We're delighted to announce the launch of 'Breaking News', a continuation of our 'Never Ordinary' global brand platform, first launched last August by bet365 and Creative Agency Partner, Drummond Central The start of the 24/25 Premier League marked the launch of our epic 'Breaking News' television advert campaign, with the marathon-winning “Fridge Man” making his debut in bet365’s new brand advert, ahead of kick-off in the Premier League opener between Manchester United and Fulham. With a sports news network at the centre of the campaign, watch as news anchors cover an array of extraordinary sporting moments across a day. From a football player scoring a goal from hanging off the spider cam, a tennis player returning the ball from row 6, all the way to a man with a fridge on his back winning a marathon. The spot places these Never Ordinary moments within a live, In-Play world, perfectly showcasing what bet365 is best known for. Chloe Shrubb, bet365's Global Head of Brand Marketing, commented: “bet365 is back with Never Ordinary, and this year, the challenge is even greater. We’ve got a hard act to follow from last year's successful campaign and it's only the second year of a very different and evolving direction for bet365. I’m really excited about this creative, it’s a beautifully simple idea that really articulates how bet365 elevates moments. We are absolutely unique, standout and we’re Never Ordinary.” bet365 are also proud to incorporate responsible gambling into the new ‘Breaking News’ creative platform. We will continue with our PLAY SAFE | bet365 campaign, and have produced a standalone advert within the Breaking News environment to fully support our responsible gambling message. #bet365 #BreakingNews #NeverOrdinary

We’re excited to share our Q2 2024 earnings today. Here are the highlights that show strong growth across the business 👇 ☑ The US led the way. FanDuel extended its #1 position in online sportsbook and iGaming, with revenue and AMP (Average Monthly Player) growth both accelerating. Growth was impressive across both new and existing states - as we made product enhancements to our NBA and MLB offering and added new gaming titles. ☑ Outside of the US, the European Football Championship, the “Euros”, saw 4m customers placing bets, driving strong AMP growth and revenue in Flutter UK & Ireland, alongside iGaming momentum. ☑ In Flutter International, revenue growth accelerated due to the strong AMPs growth, the Euros and Indian Premier League. We launched Same Game Parlays in Italy, where Sisal reached a record market share. All of this was made possible through our distinctive competitive advantage, the Flutter Edge. We're excited to head into the second half of 2024 with raised guidance and an Investor Day on September 25, where we will outline Flutter’s exciting growth potential.
