As part of our title sponsorship of the EFL (English Football League), we launched the Sky Bet EFL Building Foundations Fund, and recently we awarded nine EFL Club Charities with a share of £520,000 to support community-focused initiatives. 🤝 Each season, £1 million is made available in funding with Clubs and their charities with a maximum grant of up to £100,000 awarded to successful bids. ⚽ Norwich City Community Sports Foundation was one of the beneficiaries of the fund. This volunteering scheme provides opportunities to reduce isolation and foster a greater sense of community by training volunteers of all ages, including those from underrepresented groups, and offering support to the Foundation’s other initiatives. 💚 💛 We’re delighted to be able to support brilliant charities like this. The Flutter Charity Ball raised over £280K in one night for Cure Leukaemia, bringing the total this year to an amazing £357K! 🪩 Over the course of the year, colleagues across the Flutter UK & Ireland region including; Paddy Power, Betfair, Sky Betting & Gaming, and tombola have rallied together to support the ATICUS network, funding 15 centres across the UK which make cutting-edge clinical trials aimed at improving outcomes for children undergoing stem cell transplants possible. 🙌 Hosted by ITV Racing’s Ed Chamberlain and Oli Bell, the event this week saw guests entertained, inspired and even moved to tears by the incredible stories shared on the night. 🎤 Steve Birch, CCO of Sky Betting & Gaming and tombola, said: "I’ve visited the Christy Research Centre in Manchester, which is one of 15 centres that Cure Leukaemia support, and I saw myself the importance and impact that the money Flutter has raised over the last year makes.
