What I noticed being 1,5 years in the role of Head Of Salesforce Marketing at FORWARD is that many Salesforce #customers actually have quite a few challenges understanding and using the technology. It also becomes clear that if they already have a partner, they actually experience them as a ticketing system, which therefore lacks #strategic #guidance. If there is one major gift I could give you for 2025, it would be the gift of building meaningful relationships with your customers. It doesn't make sense to blast full databases if less than half are responding. That actually means you're paying big bucks to annoy people with a message they don't want to receive, and on top of it, your numbers are impacted since you focus on the wrong data. Actually, start by practicing what you preach and go for real personal communication and no longer spray-and-pray tactics. How do you do this? Here are 5 tips to make technology work for you: 1. Use #Einstein #Engagement #Scoring: Salesforce Marketing Cloud analyses reporting insights and will automatically put your audience into 4 dynamic groups. Using target groups like Window Shoppers, Loyalists, Win-back/Dormant, and Selective Subscribers, you can tailor your message based on interest. 2. Start using Einstein #STO: Einstein Send Time Optimization in #SFMC determines the best time to send a message. Using machine learning, Einstein predicts optimal send times so that a user is more likely to engage with your message. 3. Monitor and clean #bounces: It is only costing you money to keep email addresses in your marketing automation tool. Plus, there is still the risk you keep them in your targeting, which in turn is bad for your #deliverability. 4. Check your #Senderscore: Speaking of deliverability, the best way to check this is to check your IP reputation on SenderScore.org. A bad IP is impacting your entire infrastructure and therefore also the sending to true brand lovers. 5. Analyse your #data beyond email: There are so many data points to look at. Maybe they are not responsive over email, but they are frequent buyers, and that includes online and offline. Tools like Salesforce Data Cloud can help you bring clarity. Hope this helps.
