📢 We are proud to launch the patient survey as a part of TRUSTING EU project, an initiative designed to empower individuals through an innovative, speech-based tool that can predict early signs of #psychosis relapse. We invite patients with lived experience to share their perspectives, which will play a crucial role in shaping a tool that meets real-world needs, making it effective, user-friendly, and relevant to daily life. 🔗 Patient Survey: https://shorturl.at/GYkUO 🗓 Deadline: November 17th To learn more about the TRUSTING project, visit https://lnkd.in/eFjyudzw #MentalHealthInnovation #TRUSTING #HorizonEU

Walking together, with the goal in sight and for a good cause, that is „WalkForWellness“ from Norwegian Cruise Line and if you add partnership, the result can only be good: Together with the teams of Hanseat Reisen GmbH, CANUSA TOURISTIK GmbH & Co. KG and Kreuzfahrtberater GmbH, we were able to collect around 365,000 steps on top this week and we were supported in achieving our goal of being able to do a good cause for our partner this year, GAMIAN-Europe. At the end, the participants and I were able to do something good for ourselves and our well-being, so many thanks to the partners and my over sixty hard-working walkers! #nclw4w #mentalhealth #partnership

We already know that trauma isn't just a possibility—it’s an inevitability. War, loss, abuse, death—these are perpetual traumas. And then there are the subtler, yet equally insidious traumas: oppression, corruption, deceit. They take root because we aren’t, or refuse to be, resilient to them. And where does this manifest more strongly than in art? It’s hard to find an artist whose work doesn’t reflect these struggles. Francis Bacon’s Father series comes to mind—one of my favourites—where his raw portrayal captures the intense social tension that resonates even today. Join us at our closing event, where we’ll delve into how art serves as a socio-psychological mirror. Meet artists who are brave about their souls, and engage with the public in this profound dialogue. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this conversation. Come to our webinar! See U there! A GAMIAN-Europe event. Supported by Bodywhys - The Eating Disorders Association of Ireland and EFPA (European Federation of Psychologists' Associations)

Today I will share my biggest childhood secret… My mum (before dying from colon cancer in 2009) was diagnosed in 1999 as having a 'heavy' bipolar disorder. I remember getting little help from the psychiatric hospital where she stayed (it was too new for them too), loads of pills (which did not really work) and TONES AND TONES of STIGMA from the environment where we lived. She was so ashamed to ‘be bipolar’. It really hurt. I even was ashamed, sorry mum, I am truly sorry! This video is so healing, liberating, and needed. Thanks GAMIAN-Europe. Deeply thanks to anyone who contributes to tackling all aspects of mental health and improving our mental health/wellbeing.
🌍 Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay! We are tackling a critical issue: #stigma surrounding #mentalhealth. Mental health stigma has silenced voices, distorted perceptions, and blocked individuals from accessing support. Stigma isn’t just a word, it’s a barrier. 📄 Dive into our report that explores personal insights and the consequences of mental health stigma, particularly in areas like employment, healthcare, and relationships. https://bit.ly/3zS9h8l Together, we foster greater empathy and inclusivity, cultivating a society where acceptance, compassion, and the opportunity to live free from stigma are prioritised. Let's change the narrative about major mental health conditions! #EndTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters #ChangeTheNarrative #WMHD2024
