Yes, the rumors are true... We indeed hired an ex-Playstation engineer at Henchman. Prachurjya, aka The Legend and our newest Product Manager, lived in Japan for 3 years to build a product that’s used by millions of people. What more do you want? You will not be surprised if we tell you he’s an avid gamer and e-sports enthusiast. You will be surprised if we tell you he’s also a DJ and House music producer. You will fall in love if we tell you he’s managing his educational NGO in India on the side. Tons of kudos for Prachurjya’s multifunctional skill set. We are lucky to have you, Prachu. Welcome! 💙 PS - You can meet the Playstation legend in our office, every day from 9AM-5PM. Please DM to schedule an appointment as it will get busy.

Legal professionals rarely start from a blank sheet of paper when drafting contracts or negotiating details with other parties. They spend at least 60 minutes sifting through old contracts or talking to colleagues to find relevant precedents. On a company level, a lot of redundant work is done as collective knowledge is not actionable. The absence of insights leaves legal professionals with lots of guesswork: are the suggested clauses and definitions according to our clients or own standards? Are the suggestions best practice, or is specific wording also used by my colleagues? Henchman solves this problem by automatically centralizing past clauses and definitions from any legal team's contract database and delivering them intelligently in lawyers’ familiar Microsoft Word, Outlook or Copilot environments. Henchman helps lawyers and legal professionals to eliminate time consuming tasks and focus on adding value and expertise.

“A misconception primarily in the legal field is that when you hear innovation, people automatically go to ‘oh, well, that's technology’. In reality, however, it is so much more than that.” Lyndsay Capeder from Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is sharing her thoughts with Jeroen Thierens on legal innovation, expressing the importance to look at it through a holistic lens as this is when you will master tech adoption, expansion, and engagement opportunities. Don't miss out on “Legally Binding”, the hottest podcast out there. 😉 Listen to our first episode with Lyndsay here: https://lnkd.in/ezswrfFj

Taking a look at the picture you might believe Jan loves an incognito lifestyle, but his first week at Henchman definitely didn’t go unnoticed. Jan was 4 when he discovered his weakness for computers, and at the age of 14 he learned his first code. Today, he’s still going strong as our freshest Senior Backend Engineer. Looking for Jan over the weekend? Chances are high you’ll find him playing board games with friends, programming his home automation system, reading science books, or teaching his children to cook. We kindly advised Jan to reconsider the last activity. As of his first day, we all realized Jan has been the missing piece of our puzzle. Being enthusiastic, optimistic, and ambitious, it’s clear he’s a Henchie at heart. Welcome to the team, Jan! We are definitely lucky to have you on board. 💙

We’ve all heard about Freud's iceberg analogy in thousands of management presentations, so it's actually pretty spectacular we have never used it at Henchman so far 😄. Imagine that his iceberg represents your law firm’s knowledge. The visible tip is usable data that’s easily accessible for legal professionals. But there’s also a big, invisible mass underneath. Our newest report about legal knowledge management (KM) reveals the hidden treasure of your firm’s database. 👉🏼 What does successful knowledge management look like? 👉🏼 What are the main roadblocks? 👉🏼 And how do you see KM evolve in 5 years from now? We’re proud to serve you insights coming from 6 legal experts, each being excited to share their perspectives and experiences related to KM in Legal. 📖 Our report is totally ready for you: https://lnkd.in/exA6Ew29
