#InfraROB project demonstration in Austria 👇 Last week, starting on Monday, 1st October, the InfraROB consortium held a successful series of demonstrations in Austria. These events showcased key project developments in a real-world #construction environment, including:   ✅ The autonomous paver (MOBA Mobile Automation)  ✅The FOS lay-down system (Cologne University of Applied Sciences)  ✅The validation of the FOS functionality (RINA)  ✅RPAS and RPSC systems for traffic monitoring and safety (Universidade de Vigo)  ✅Communication and alert systems (Universidade do Minho, ASFINAG) 👏 A huge thank you to ASFINAG for organizing the demonstration, TPA for their support, and the construction company PORR Group for granting us access to an active worksite. We would also like to thank all the InfraROB project partners for their outstanding collaboration in making these demonstrations a success. The team at the Technische Universität Darmstadt is addressing this issue through discrete element simulations. ⏭ The next step is to transfer the results from the desk to real-world paving operations.
