Kinepolis Group NV was formed in 1997 as a result of the merger of two family-run cinema groups and was listed on the stock exchange in 1998. Kinepolis offers an innovative cinema concept which serves as a pioneering model within the industry. Kinepolis had a challenging first half of the year, as expected, with fewer visitors due to a poor blockbuster offering. On Thursday 30 May, Kinepolis inaugurated its cinema complex in Amnéville (France). This cinema was taken over by Kinepolis in December 2022 and a complete renovation has since been undertaken to transform this 12-screen, 2,352-seat cinema and bring it up to the highest standards of comfort and quality.
