Another patient who saved weeks thanks to Iriscope !

Assessment of a 10mm left upper lobe lung nodule, inaccessible via transthoracic biopsy. Diagnosis of NSCLC was achieved through fluoroscopic electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy using the Illumisite™ Platform (Medtronic). Fluoroscopic navigation was applied to correct CT-to-body divergence and for local registration. Proper positioning was confirmed with radial EBUS, which demonstrated an eccentric lesion. The Iriscope™ (Lys Medical), a reusable, miniaturized 1.3 mm videoendoscopic probe, was used to confirm catheter placement and to visualize the distal bronchial tree and peripheral lesions. The diagnosis was confirmed through forceps biopsies and cryobiopsies.
