👩🏼🎓👨🏼🎓 At the Howest Brugge Station campus, our colleagues of MBG and VMA were honored to be part of the opening ceremony of the academic year. From now, more than 5.000 students and the HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen staff will fully enjoy their brand-new, modern and sustainable site. It will surely be an inspiring environment for learning, working, and connecting with each other 🤩. MBG and VMA , both business units of our CFE Group, have been playing a key role in the design, construction and the future maintenance of the new campus. 🏗️ 🔌 The project encompassed the construction of a new building and the thorough renovation of two existing ones. The campus offers spacious and flexible classrooms, equipped with the latest technology and furniture, as well as ample natural light and ventilation. 💡 👷🏽👷🏻♂️👷♀️ We are immensely proud of all our #Heroes, whose dedication and hard work made this possible. Their pursuit to create a sustainable campus was remarkable: from the circular façade and waste-water reuse to repurposing of materials and minimizing transportation emissions. #ChangingForGood, for real! De studenten en docenten van HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen genieten al even van hun welverdiende vakantie, maar vandaag kunnen ook wij met een gerust gemoed beginnen aan onze zomervakantie. De nieuwe campus Station Brugge werd vandaag voorlopig opgeleverd. De studenten, docenten en medewerkers zullen dus vanaf academiejaar 2024-2025 volop kunnen genieten van hun vernieuwde campus. We zijn enorm fier op onze MBG H.E.R.O'.S. die dit prachtige project gerealiseerd hebben in een strak tempo. Dank aan alle bouwpartners, waaronder ook onze CFE - collega's van VMA. Meiboom OSEA 🌳 Diepe buiging voor het #ONETEAM van Immobel, Conix RDBM, Sweco, Seco, MBG, Decat en de vele arbeiders! We staken er in maart vorig jaar de eerste schop in de grond. 15 maanden later hebben we het hoogste punt bereikt van het project OSEA. We bouwen er sleutel-op-de-deur 229 appartementen verdeeld over 5 gebouwen (waarvan 2 torens), een ondergrondse parkeergarage en een paviljoen. De meiboom staat symbool voor voorspoed en vruchtbaarheid. Dat het gebouw zo sterk mag zijn als een boom. 🌟 Throwback to inspirational Technical Days 2024! 🌟 More than 200 of our colleagues in Construction & Renovation of CFE came together for the Technical Days, centered around the theme: Powering sustainability 💚, brick by brick 🧱. It’s a yearly tradition in our Group to join people from BPC Group, Van Laere NV Laere, MBG, CLE Compagnie Luxembourgeoise d'Entreprises, BPI Real Estate, Laminated Timber Solutions Belgium, Wood Shapers and BENELMAT sa - nv, to share experiences and connect with each other. Our BENELMAT sa - nv colleagues hosted this year’s event at their site in Gembloux. They did the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The venue was extraordinary 🙏🏻 Isabelle De Bruyne, Chief Sustainability Officer, and sponsor of the event, looks back with satisfaction: “The event was a great success, packed with inspiration, practical applications, and opportunities to create a sustainable impact on our projects. The afternoon featured a series of workshops highlighting the critical role of sustainability throughout the lifecycle of a building - from concept to construction, maintenance, renovation, revalorisation and demolition. Sustainability is a must, that’s for sure. Yet, we are all committed to change the way we operate in our sector and we have the potential to do so. 𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐍 - 𝐒𝐊𝐘 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 @ 𝐎𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞 Het SKY District krijgt steeds meer vorm. De vierde, en laatste fase van dit stadsvernieuwingsproject vordert. Wij geven je graag een update: - SKY Tower Two bereikte vorige week zijn hoogste punt met 87 meter. De ruwbouwwerken worden gefinaliseerd, en de afwerking is volop bezig op de laagste verdiepingen. - SKY Garden Two telt in ruwbouw intussen al 4 bouwlagen. Nog 3 te gaan! - SKY Hotel is in ruwbouw volledig klaar, want ramen en glas werden geplaatst. De afwerking loopt, zo worden de pleisterwerken voltooid op de hoogste verdiepingen en zullen volgende week alle verdiepingen gechapt worden.
