Micledi has made the Top 100 Silicon Startups for 2024 in the annual ranking by EE Times. Placed alphabetically, a brief backgrounder about Micledi and financing success achieved by Mr. Sean Lord, CEO, and others in Micledi, can be found on page 37 of the 57 pages in the listing of Top 100 Startups. Mr. Lord, and others have tightened belts in order to focus on the most important elements in Micledi's pursuit of best in class microLED arrays. Stay tuned for much to come in future quarters.

Once again, MICLEDI Microdisplays chose SID Display Week 2024 to showcase the company's substantial progress in microLEDs for AR glasses, shoulder to shoulder with others of the industry's best examples of leading tech enabling the future of AR. MICLEDI hosted more than 150 visitors to booth #1647. MICLEDI Microdisplays has been busy. Two weeks ago, at SID Display WEEK 2024, Dr. Soeren Steudal was an invited speaker addressing the topic of, "Integration Challenges for microLED on CMOS for AR." Participating contributors included Johan Vertommen, Giuseppe Buscemi, Tom Jannsens, and Lars Bach. MICLEDI is well recognized as the leader in microLEDs made in 300mm CMOS. Today we announced that we’ve secured nearly $30 Million in Series A and Seed funding to advance best-in-class microLED display design and manufacturing. We’d like to express sincere appreciation for our seed round investors, who all participated in this Series A round: imec.xpand, PMV, imec, KBC and SFPIM. New funds will be used to further our goal to uplevel the AR experience for consumers through the highest performing, most brilliant RBG arrays for ultra-compact displays. MICLEDI’s near term priorities include expanding the team, designing and building an active backplane ASIC and creating a fully functional microLED display module that can be used in glasses for AR displays. CES is home to the most innovative consumer electronics tech each year and MICLEDI is on hand showcasing the best in microLED technology.
