The NanoIC pilot line boosts the development and commercialization of beyond-2nm systems-on-chip.
About us
The NanoIC pilot line aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of systems-on-chip based on beyond-2nm logic nodes. It offers low-barrier access to state-of-the-art equipment, and advanced research and development of new materials, process steps, and modules. These services are available to a host of key actors in the semiconductor ecosystem, from foundries and IDMs to start-ups, SMEs, universities, RTOs, and design and system companies. Deployed by the European Chips Act, the NanoIC is hosted by imec (Belgium), and its partners include CEA-Leti (France), Fraunhofer (Germany), VTT (Finland), CSSNT (Romania), and Tyndall National Institute (Ireland).

🚀 In May, we announced the launch of the NanoIC pilot line, a significant step towards realizing the EU Chips Act vision. This initiative aims to accelerate innovation, drive economic growth, and strengthen Europe's semiconductor ecosystem. With a projected contribution of €1.4B from the Flemish government (Belgium) and EU funding programs (through the Chips Joint Undertaking ), we are poised to create a leading technology platform for companies worldwide. 👉 Read more about it in our press release: https://lnkd.in/d_2BAT2r #NanoIC #EUChipsAct
