At NATRUE, we are united by a common goal: to protect and promote natural and organic cosmetics to the benefit of consumers worldwide. NATRUE’s mission is based on two pillars which have consumer’s interest at heart: - Contribute to regulatory decision-making to ensure the availability of premium natural & organic cosmetic ingredients; - Promote and develop a strict regulatory definition of natural and organic ingredients and finished cosmetics products. Based on a strict set of criteria, the NATRUE Label has developed, grown and expanded across Europe and worldwide since its creation in 2007, consolidating its position in the NOC sector as an international benchmark for authentic natural and organic cosmetic products. The NATRUE label is a guarantee of transparency and reliability for consumers as it helps them to easily identify true natural and organic cosmetic products, contributing to keeping greenwashing off the shelves.

It’s been 15 years since the EU Cosmetic Products Regulation was introduced, creating a unified legal framework that prioritises two key goals: 1️⃣ Protecting consumer health by requiring strict safety standards for all cosmetics before they reach the #EUmarket. 2️⃣ Ensuring smooth functioning of the internal market for cosmetics across #EUMemberStates. 🚨 Now, the European Commission has officially launched an evaluation of the Regulation, aiming to review its strengths and weaknesses, assess its effectiveness, efficiency, and measure its EU added value.
