#MeetOurProjects 🌊 Mediterranean Crossing brings coastal communities together to reflect on the Mediterranean’s environmental and human crises — where climate change, migration, and inclusion intertwine. The partnership tours ‘The Last Lamentation’ by Valentina Medda — a hypnotic vocal and choreographic performance led by women, based on ancient mourning rituals. 🪸 Bringing art in public spaces, Mediterranean Crossing creates moments for collective reflection on the sea’s ecological and cultural loss. #MeetOurProjects   Chapter 1: SUGAR — A collaboration of three partners exploring working-class heritage and industrial history through movement. 🏭 Inspired by the archives of La Raffinerie in Brussels, Giulia Vitiello rethinks the history of a sugar factory through dance and site-specific performance. Going beyond traditional venues, the project brings performances to open spaces and engages audiences with community-driven events. #MeetOurProjects Sense-ational Circus Cabaret – A mobile circus bringing immersive and inclusive performances to marginalised and disabled communities. 🎪 From refugee camps to care facilities, this caravan travels across Europe, offering sensory circus experiences to children. The performances feature puppetry, inventive performances, and the magic of circus to engage, inspire, and uplift. #MeetOurProjects   ALASKA — Written just months before the Russian invasion, Alaska is a play that gives voice to the youth of Mariupol, telling their story after their theatre was destroyed. 🇺🇦 💭 This performance explores the pursuit of happiness and security in an abusive world, offering a platform for both Ukrainian youth and locals in the visited countries to share their truths about war, life, and purpose. #MeetOurProjects Manual of Adaptation to the Planet — a participatory performance that transforms public space into a playground for inventing strategies to adapt to climate change. 💡 Led by Zelda Soussan & Ruggero Franceschini (LUIT, FR), the performance invites audiences to play, imagine the future, and share strategy ideas. 🌱 The journey ends with turning imagination into action. Ideas born during the performance will be published in a collective climate adaptation manual.
