What a journey, Fréderique! Your leadership in empowering the team and expanding our presence in the market is truly exceptional. Thank you for sharing your story and for your ongoing commitment to excellence. ✨
Throughout my educational path, my destiny seemed clearly written to become a researcher, but I haven’t touched a lab instrument in a decade. In 2014, I concluded my post-doctoral research at Ghent University, collaborating on innovative research for a potential cancer drug. Very interesting at the time, but not my cup of tea. Immediately after my post-doc, I started working at pi Life Sciences as a consultant, getting introduced to the pharmaceutical industry in Belgium and helping products reach the market on time. During that time, in my free time, I found energy in promoting the values and services of pi Life Sciences to a broader client portfolio. And that got noticed… As a result, I was offered a role as a business developer within pi Life Sciences to empower our company’s presence in the local market. Today, more than 10 years later, I’m responsible for the business unit of pi Life Sciences, delivering the most valuable solutions for our partners and the most appreciated missions for our consultants. Together, we bring innovative and cutting-edge therapies to patients, both locally and globally. Remember: Belgium is one of the most prominent leaders in the pharmaceutical value chain. So believe in your own contributions and surround yourself with people who complement your energy. P.S. Yes, that's me more than 10 years ago, Fréderique 'the researcher'.
