🌍 Unlocking the Future of Europe’s Tech Competitiveness On Monday, our colleague Jan Feyaerts joined a dynamic panel discussion at the heart of the European Parliament, focusing on how new technologies can drive productivity and foster inclusive economic growth across Europe. Hosted by Debating Europe and moderated by Merle Becker, the panel also featured MEP Bruno Tobback and Google’s Joëlle Jouret and addressed the pressing question of Europe’s technological competitiveness. The discussion followed the release of the 2024 Voices – Citizens Speak Up! report, which highlighted Belgian citizens’ rising concerns about Europe’s technological future. Together, the panelists explored potential strategies to strengthen Europe's tech ecosystem, boost competitiveness, and modernise its infrastructure to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Last week, our colleagues Sara Cerar and Marine Degraux traveled to Madrid for a week-long office exchange with the Political Intelligence España team. This exchange was a fantastic opportunity to share best practices and explore ways to further strengthen collaboration between EU and Spanish public affairs. Sara and Marine also presented key insights on what to expect from the 2025-2029 EU policy mandate and how companies in Spain can best navigate it. At Political Intelligence, dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge transfer are central to our work. This is why, alongside the Political Intelligence Portugal and Political Intelligence España offices, we organise exchanges that deepen our connections and provide valuable insights into each team's unique environment.
