Embarking on the first chapter of our future collaboration with Verso Energy! 🚀 We’re excited to announce we’ve just signed a MoU with Verso Energy in view of supporting their development of seven #eFuels production plants worldwide – 4 in France, 2 in Finland, 1 in the USA. These facilities are expected to produce more than 500,000 tons of sustainable aviation fuel per year, with up to 90% lower lifecycle emissions than conventional jet fuel. 🎯 This is a key milestone for us to become Verso Energy’s partner of choice to conduct all pre-FID studies (Basic Engineering, pre-FEED, and FEED) for each of these plants, aiming to develop a standardized platform for Methanol-to-Jet production. 🤝 This initiative confirms our presence in the European #PowerToX solutions market. It’s also a significant step forward towards an extended partnership with Verso Energy, aiming to drive down the cost of e-Fuels through first-class technologies and high-level standardization. 📢 More details in our joint Press Release here: https://lnkd.in/e5nHSf-g #BridgeTheGap #GreenHydrogen Vincent KOUMAN, Eng, MBA Dalila HOSNI DELFORGE Richard Temple Victor Lévy-Frébault Pierre-François Le Bouille

Rely is in mourning. Our colleague Pierre Blaise, Head of Engineering, passed away last Friday at the age of 53. 💔 Pierre joined Rely just over a year ago, after 28 years of commitment at John Cockerill. He joined the company in 1996 as a young engineer graduated from Liege University, in the tradition of engineers who remained attached to the industries that made their region famous. After holding various engineering and management positions in John Cockerill, he’s been one of Rely pioneers, proud to work for a company dedicated to energy transition. Pierre was a joyful, radiant, and deeply caring person, with a great sense of teamwork, always happy to lend a helping hand to his colleagues. He loved sharing his knowledge and passions. His professionalism was recognized by everyone. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. We’ll miss you, Pierre. 🌟

👑 Royal visit yesterday at one of our parent companies, John Cockerill. ⚡King Philippe of Belgium visited the Seraing site to discover more specifically the activities related to #GreenHydrogen, particularly the production facilities for pressurized alkaline #electrolyzers. 👍 Such a visit is a strong signal from the highest level of the State. It is a spotlight that can prove decisive in this pivotal period for the #EnergyTransition, where securing new contracts remains essential to accelerate the development of the green hydrogen and #PowerToX industry, and above all, its contribution to decarbonizing #HardToElectrify activities. 🎥 Thank you Benjamin Verpoorten and RTBF for this coverage. #BridgeTheGap Hervé Jamar

Earlier today at India Energy Week, our COO Sébastien Roussel spoke about one of #GreenHydrogen's most impactful practical applications: #GreenAmmonia production. The #AmmoniaMarket will cumulatively be worth ~170 billion USD by 2030*, with grey ammonia being one of the most carbon-intensive industrial chemicals. There’s thus plenty of space for improvement, decarbonizing not only the fertilizers industry, but also applications such as shipping fuel and hydrogen transport. With the potential of green ammonia space, Sebastien spoke about the importance of collaboration. 🤝 “We must integrate the full supply chain, develop partnerships, and encourage people to join this expertise,” he said. “In fact, we are working with AM Green Group (our fellow panelist) and John Cockerill to launch India’s largest green ammonia project in #Kakinada. The project is a full conversion of an existing grey ammonia to green ammonia facility: a tangible proof point of the capacity of green ammonia.” “At #Rely, we are running an innovation program focusing on the use of green hydrogen as a feedstock in producing ammonia,” he added. “We act as an integrator for the complete green hydrogen Power-to-X value chain, developing a comprehensive ecosystem of #PowerToX solutions to scale production faster, safer, and more reliably.” Huge thanks to co-panelists Ranjit Gupta, Gautam Reddy Kumbam, John van der Velden, Bharat Goenka, Anil Kumar Taparia and Ed Crooks. Together, let’s scale the green ammonia value chain! 💪 #BridgeTheGap *Source: International Energy Agency (IEA) and S&P Global
