Saint-Gobain Benelux Newcomer Day: Making the World a Better Home! Thanks to over 50 recently joined colleagues, the 5th Saint-Gobain Benelux Newcomer Day, hosted at Saint-Gobain Gyproc & Isover Belgium, was a resounding success! We warmly welcomed our new colleagues and shared valuable Saint-Gobain insights through engaging presentations by Richard Juggery, Frank te Poel , Jeroen Diepenmaat, and Maarten Janssens. Topics covered included our Values, Purpose, TEC culture, Top Employer certification, Employee Engagement Survey, and insights into Saint-Gobain Gyproc and Isover Benelux. Following safety instructions, participants toured the plant to learn about the production processes and applications of gypsum boards. Additionally, "Marketplace visits" showcased other Saint-Gobain businesses such as Saint-Gobain Weber, Saint-Gobain Glass, and Saint-Gobain Surface Solutions. After a delicious lunch, we introduced our newcomers to the Climate Fresk and Diversity Fresk activities, ensuring alignment with these essential Saint-Gobain Values. De Vries en Verburg heeft een circulair en energieneutraal kantoorgebouw gerealiseerd dat een krachtig statement maakt over circulariteit, duurzaamheid en innovatie. Mede door het gebruik van ons IsoPerform LCG XTR 70/33 ORAÉ. Dit low carbon isolatieglas is geregistreerd in de Nationale Milieudatabase in Categorie 1. Het ORAÉ low carbon floatglas is geproduceerd door Saint-Gobain Building Glass Benelux. De vakkundige plaatsing is uitgevoerd door Wijnveen Aluminiumbouw bv. Met deze glasoplossing hebben we een aanzienlijke CO2-reductie bereikt. ☀️ Habitat 7 by day or by night? 👻 Don’t be afraid to make a choice! No matter the weather conditions, for this special Halloween day, you will discover a beautiful project using our ORAÉ® low-carbon glass: Habitat 7. Direction Gothenburg in Sweden, developed by the general contractor NCC, with approximately 8,000 square meters of offices, the external appearance of this impressive building is inspired by old harbour storehouses. It has a structure of massive wood and curtain wall, made from a specific timber façade system, well recognized for its low-carbon footprint. Hence, ORAÉ® appeared as the perfect glass for this project.
