Having a balanced diet doesn't always guarantee proper nutrition for adults over 65. 🥗 With over 20% of Europeans aged 65+, we're facing a substantial public health challenge that affects millions. These deficiencies directly impact cognitive function, bone health, and immune response - fundamental aspects of maintaining independence and quality of life. 🧬 However, the Zero Hidden Hunger EU project is on to address this critical gap in public health. We're looking to develop evidence-based strategies to ensure our older population receives adequate micronutrient nutrition, ultimately supporting their ability to age with dignity and vitality.
