We are pleased to host the Conference Rental Alliance (CRA) annual meeting at our new production facility in Bulgaria!   Our partners are getting the behind the scenes of our production approach, demos of our products and of course it’s a great chance for us all to discuss the opportunities in the conference rental market. Top moment of the event was the official incorporation of the CRA – congrats to all who made it possible!   Thanks for the efforts to Vladimir Veninski, the rest of team Televic Bulgaria and of course, the founding members of the CRA for making this a fantastic event! 

A big congratulations to our colleague Els Kesteloot who is, as of today, officially enjoying her retirement! Els joined Televic in 1987. One of her favourite memories? Moving into the new office in 2014! We thank Els for the years of dedication to Televic and wish her a great retirement.

Ever been on a train and haven’t been able to hear the announcements? Televic GSP knows your pain… We’ve been working on an innovative solution to bring, for the first ever, live transcription of audio announcements directly on train displays. Friday 6 September, we’re launching this “First of a Kind” with a live demo on a train in service in Manchester together with TransPennine Express. I’m proud to see this project come together in a way that reinvents passenger information. If you’re interested to join the event, feel free to reach out to me. And thanks to our collaborators - this project is funded by the Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom through the First of a Kind 2023 competition, delivered by Innovate UK Photo is of our engineers working on-site to test the solution – good luck to the team for the upcoming event! 

☀😎 Televic summer celebrations around the world -> Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany and USA! Whether it was football, a photo contest, traditional dancing or go-karting, our teams enjoyed getting together to connect, reflect on the achievements so far in 2024 and get excited about what is yet to come!

🔔 DID YOU KNOW ... In 1953, Televic Clinic Dispatch (T.C.D.) was launched as the first nurse call system with an integrated intercom, enabling direct communication between nurses and patients. This immediate and clear communication allowed for quicker responses to patient needs, thereby improving the quality of care provided. 😍 The system was designed with a centralized desk that managed all intercom communications. This centralization simplified the process for nurses, enabling them to efficiently handle multiple calls from a single location. 🎆 This was a major innovation compared to earlier systems that did not offer such integrated communication capabilities. Technology never stops and neither does Televic GSP 😊 We’re gearing up to show our latest tech at InnoTrans in September. This year, our team is really excited about the impact our technology can have on accessibility – they're working hard on a new product that enables Auracast (the next big thing from Bluetooth). We’re making sure train audio announcements are heard loud and clear for everyone with their own headphones/hearing aids: people with a hearing impairment, passengers who do not understand the local language and for passengers who simply can’t hear the announcement because of their own headphones.   Curious how we're #ReinventingPassengerInformation?
