AI boomt in recruitment. Sneller. Efficiënter. Goedkoper. Maar het is natuurlijk belangrijk om de menselijke touch niet te vergeten. Zeker bij eerste contact met kandidaten is een goede balans key. Je wilt geen robotische employer brand, toch? Waar ik aan denk: AI is top, maar neem een stapje terug en tap ook in de kennis van je team! Hun insights over kandidaten die ze kennen? Goud waard voor een completer beeld dat AI je nooit kan geven, nog beter als ze via hen binnenkomen.

"Voor deze positie moet iemand zowel Frans als Nederlands spreken," vertelde een klant mij onlangs. Eenvoudig, zou je denken, maar de realiteit is anders. 🤔 Wanneer je "Dutch" en "French" als filters toevoegt in LinkedIn Recruiter, merk je snel hoeveel mensen er worden uitgefilterd. Izzy Claerhout liet onlangs zien hoe misleidend dit kan zijn door de "not" filter te gebruiken, waarmee je profielen ziet van mensen die zogenaamd geen Nederlands en Frans spreken. Wat blijkt? Veel van deze kandidaten spreken hoogstwaarschijnlijk wél tenminste een van deze twee talen. Die filter is dus op zijn minst beperkend en op zijn ergst misleidend. Wel, wat als je nu eens de taalvaardigheden van een kandidaat kon afleiden uit andere gegevens in hun profiel?
