🏃♂️💨 300 kilometers, 12 runners, 1 mission: fighting cancer. Today, Wyre took part in the 100km Run by Kom op tegen Kanker with three teams of 4 runners each. Together, they covered a total of 300 kilometers to support this incredible cause. 💪 How did we contribute? - We sold handmade candy bags – a true team effort! From purchasing the candy to assembling and selling the bags, our colleagues worked together seamlessly to make this initiative a success. Without their dedication and collaboration, this wouldn’t have been possible. - We raised funds through partner sponsorships 🙏 A huge thank you to our partners JACOPS NV, Wirewave, Unit-T for their generous financial support and to everyone who bought candy bags. 🔋 Powering fiber deployment the sustainable way! Wyre & JACOPS NV showcased a first pilot of an "electric construction site" in Deerlijk to test and explore sustainable alternatives for fiber deployment across Flanders & Brussels. By analyzing the insights gained from this initiative, we are continuing our journey towards fully electric construction sites in the future. Superfast internet and art in Tremelo! 🎨✨ Wyre and together with Unit-T, JACOPS NV, Netceed Belgium and the Municipality of Tremelo, we are building the network of the future. The new fiber network will provide stable and superfast internet for all residents in the near future. We strive to minimize disruption during the works and the positive feedback from satisfied residents motivates us even more. A standout feature of this project is the new hub as part of the network infrastructure creatively painted by artist Sam Billen (Treepack). 🚀 Fiber rollout begins in Lennik: Building the Network of the Future Wyre is happy to announce the start of the fiber rollout in Lokaal bestuur Lennik, setting the stage for a high-speed internet future for both residents and businesses. Last week, the Wyre team visited A-NET in Ghent as they installed Fiber to the Home in two large apartment buildings. A professional and esthetic solution was provided for the residents, ensuring seamless integration.   One building was connected via the façade with external boxes, using the fire escape to minimize disruption for residents. The second was connected through shafts with floorboxes on each floor.   Excavation for fiber connections will start shortly.
