About us
The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) is a private association of companies interested to develop their business in Bulgaria and/or Romania. Together with our members, clients and partners, we form an active platform for exchange of best practices, contacts and key information, helping them foster growth. The main office of the Chamber is located in Ruse (Bulgaria), only 60 km South of Bucharest (the capital of Romania), on the bank of the river Danube. Ruse is ideally placed and offers easy access to both neighbouring markets. BRCC offers full package of tailor-made services to all businesses interested to locate in, invest and/or export to the two EU member states. We spot potential partners, we organise B2B events, we develop advocacy projects to improve the business climate in both countries. We also host a Labour Mobility Agency and a Professional Training Centre to assist businesses in finding the right workers and specialists in the other country. Our SCR mission is the Bulgarian - Romanian Kids Fund, focused at finding (and funding :)) opportunities for the Bulgarian and Romanian children to meet, play and learn together. We are client oriented and able to adopt our knowledge and expertise to your specific needs. We speak Bulgarian/Romanian/English/German/Russian. We are fast and cost-efficient; we aim to save you time. Our team is young, friendly, open and easy to work with. 📊 Metavers Analysis Project Update 📊 We're excited to share early insights from the data analysis phase of WP 2: Needs Analysis of Industry, specifically Task 2.4, focusing on the Industrial Stakeholders in Bulgaria. 💡 Stakeholder Overview Our analysis of 34 interviews across 24 companies in Bulgaria offers a detailed look at stakeholders involved in immersive technologies and digital innovation. These discussions reveal crucial trends in tech adoption, training methodologies, and the future of Bulgaria's digital ecosystem. 🔍 Key Findings on Immersive Technologies Awareness The Bulgarian business community shows basic awareness and engagement with immersive tech, including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Extended Reality (XR), and the emerging concept of the Metaverse. Our survey showed that not many stakeholders have hands-on experience, applying these tools in various sectors: Education & Training: VR and AR are valuable for simulating complex scenarios, benefiting fields like healthcare, engineering, and vehicle engineering by creating safe learning environments. Business Applications: Companies use VR and AR to improve remote collaboration, host virtual meetings, improve customers experience and deliver interactive product demos. Entertainment & Gaming: Leading VR adoption, these sectors provide immersive, interactive experiences. Engineering and Architecture: AR and XR are enhancing the work of architects, and this leads at the end to process optimisation. 🌐 Interest in the Metaverse While less widely implemented, the Metaverse concept is catching attention for its potential to create virtual spaces for social interaction, commerce, and entertainment. ⚠️ Challenges Ahead Adoption is not without hurdles. Stakeholders cite cost, technical complexity, skill requirements, and concerns over privacy and security in virtual environments as areas needing attention. As of 2023, Victor Gugushev is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (formerly known as the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry). This is an association of some of the most important Bulgarian and Romanian companies doing business in both countries and is based in the city of Ruse. The first part of the interview with Viktor Gugushev was dedicated to the difficulties of crossing the Friendship Bridge, which arose after the start of its renovation on the Bulgarian side on July 10, 2024, and the solutions proposed by the Chamber. The current text is the second part of the interview, which focuses on the Chamber’s attitude towards strategic issues – such as energy connectivity, the war in Ukraine and their impact on the economy of both countries, the Chamber’s position on the removal of land border controls between Greece, Bulgaria and Romania, the level of confidence in Bulgarian business in Romania and how the Chamber supports Bulgarian and Romanian companies that want to do business in the other country. https://lnkd.in/ehzYyxSt

💡Вероятно ще се изненадате, но Българо-румънска търговска камара непрекъснато се предизвиква като работи по най-разнообразни теми, които са важни за екипа ни и за фирмите, които са част от нашето многолико 🇧🇬 & 🇷🇴 българо-румънско семейство. Щастливи сме да споделим, че сме на финала на двегодишно пътуване из темите за многообразието и приобщаването на работното място. Направихме интересни открития за България и за останалите 8 държави, в които се опитахме да изследваме как можем да управляваме многообразието така, че да подобрим културата на нашите организации или фирми. Включихме и разказването на истории, за да подкрепим компаниите да ангажират своите служители в задълбочени разговори по темата и да се ориентират в сложността на управлението на многообразието и приобщаването чрез наративния подход. Създадохме изключително практични ресурси за специалистите по човешки ресурси и мениджърите в компаниите, проучихме съществуващите политики в нашите държави по отношение на многообразието и приобщаването и получихме ценна обратна връзка от срещите ни с практиците.
